KVKK Disclosure Notice

This disclosure notice has been prepared by PortDeliver as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") regarding the processing of personal data collected through www.portdeliver.com and in connection with our B2B workflow automation services for ports, terminals and logistics operators.

PortDeliver acts as the data controller for personal data processed through our corporate website, demo request forms, contact channels and pre-contractual business communications.

2. Personal Data Processed

Depending on your interaction with PortDeliver, the following categories of personal data may be processed:

  • Identity information (name, surname)
  • Contact information (corporate email address, phone number)
  • Professional information (company name, job title, department, company type, estimated user count)
  • Transaction security data (IP address, browser type, session logs, access timestamps)
  • Request and communication content (demo requests, messages submitted via forms)

3. Purposes of Data Processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Evaluating and responding to demo, contact and partnership requests
  • Conducting pre-sales, product information and commercial communication activities
  • Planning, delivering and improving PortDeliver platform and professional services
  • Managing contractual processes and customer relationship workflows
  • Ensuring website security, preventing unauthorized access and maintaining service continuity
  • Fulfilling obligations arising from applicable legislation, including KVKK
  • Establishing and exercising legal claims, and protecting legitimate business interests

4. Data Transfer

Personal data may be transferred to domestic and, where required for infrastructure services, international service providers (such as hosting, email delivery, form processing and analytics providers) strictly for the purposes stated above and under appropriate contractual safeguards.

Data may also be shared with authorized public institutions and organizations when required by applicable law, and with third parties where you provide explicit consent or where transfer is permitted under KVKK.

PortDeliver does not sell personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention Period

Personal data is retained for the period necessary to fulfill the processing purposes for which it was collected, and in any case for the durations required by applicable legislation and limitation periods for legal claims.

  • Demo and contact request records: up to 2 years from the last interaction, unless a longer period is required for an active commercial relationship
  • Contract and customer relationship data: for the term of the relationship and statutory retention periods thereafter
  • Log and security records: up to 2 years, unless a longer period is required for security investigations or legal obligations

Upon expiry of the retention period, personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with KVKK and relevant regulations.

6. Your Rights Under KVKK

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed
  • Request information if your data has been processed
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in line with that purpose
  • Know third parties to whom your data is transferred domestically or abroad
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
  • Request deletion or destruction of data under the conditions set forth in KVKK
  • Request notification of correction or deletion to third parties to whom data was transferred
  • Object to adverse results arising from automated analysis of your data
  • Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing

You may submit your requests to info@portdeliver.com. Requests will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, in accordance with KVKK, unless the process requires an additional cost.
